Alice Keeler (@alicekeeler) is one of my favorite Google Certified Educators to follow on Twitter. She is always posting tips, tricks, and ideas that make me excited to try new things!
One thing to know is that Alice Keeler writes as a Chromebook user, so when she says to use the ctrl button a Mac user needs to use the command button. Keeler’s post “Be a Ninja: Learn Keyboard Shortcuts” Is a great place to start. She shares 8 weeks of keyboard shortcuts. Her purpose for spreading it out over 8 weeks is to have you/your learners practice one shortcut for a week to make it a habit before introducing a new one. Are you a person who keeps 100 tabs open at the top of your browser? The Tabbed Browser Workflow will be a game changer for you! It is already helping me be more efficient while working with multiple tabs. The last two blog posts are focused on creating new tabs, closing tabs, and highlighting URLs with just a few finger clicks.
